My brother has hiked on trails most of his life. He loves the long day hiking trails with friends and many were very strenuous. It kept him in tip-top shape, though. He got out of hiking the trails for awhile and ventured on to other things. Now, some years later, he is back on the trails again. He was invited recently to go on a backpacking hike for one or two nights. Being that he never did this, he had to buy a backpacking tent and did so online. I was over his house when he showed me his new “toy”. I had to stick around to see how he was going to store away his backpacking tent with all the other items. I was very surprised to see and feel how light weight and how fast the set-up of the tent could be. It only made sense, of course, but I had never seen a backpacking tent before. He got everything he needed all nice and snug and was ready to start a new hiking adventure.
